Camp Blog Team Movers When I read your announcement in my inbox, I was just reminded how generous the Camp Blog Team were during those 10-good-days…and they’re doing it again. They went thru sleepless nights, delayed meals, late conversations with love ones, etc…. just to give priority to the participants.

Well guys…. THANK YOU, MORE POWER AND GOD BLESS…. also to those whose pictures didn’t appear in this collage.

MATAGO-TAGO TAKO AM-IN…

After successfully completing the 10-day Conference, I wanted to go to work immediately and apply all that I have acquired. I couldn’t wait for Monday to arrive so I could make “bida” all the things I’ve learned during the Camp Blog.

When workday arrived, it’s not all that I’ve expected to do. It’s enrollment time in our school and I happen to be working at the Registrar’s Office and College Department so we have to do enrollment tasks and all I’ve done was to tell stories about my experience during the camp.

The utmost thing I would really like to do after Camp Blog is to really update and visit my blog site but it was not so until this posting. There were many things that constrained me in updating it but at least I’ve tried to visit it, approved and disapproved some comment, download some pictures and comment on some. A week after Camp Blog (June 3 to be exact), I had a flu (NOT SWINE FLU! Thank God) which lasted for at least three days and it prevented me to visit my blog site immediately. I was only able to visit it after another week but I could not do anything else other than visiting because I have to rent in an Internet Shop after office hours and then go home immediately because rides becomes unavailable after six. Aside from the unavailable Internet connectivity in our school, classes just started and work in the office prevents me from doing more tasks. But I see brighter days ahead and I’ve already started planning what to post especially in my e-classroom.

First plan was to drop the TLE site that I have created and to put up my e-classroom for the Computer Class – third year high school and my ICT Application for Teaching and Educational Technology 2 classes for my college students. That would be available already by next week…. :)

The explanation: The digital divide between the mountainous communities and the wide world is gradually being bridged with the help of iSchools Project. It is represented by the literal bridged. The smiling sun is actually YM and the transmitters represents being connected to the world.

My Girl

cyril

My girl is fast growing up. This was her first flower girl stint in a cousin’s wedding…. She was very hesitant to march down the aisle alone when she is being instructed… she doesn’t want to get her lipstick smudge so she opens her mouth…. she hardly communicate with other kids because she is ashamed…. BUT during the ceremony, she tried to walk alone although she didn’t shower the flowers in her basket…..AND when she saw me taking her pictures down the aisle, she ran and hold my hands and didn’t make it in the altar… she even didn’t want her pictures taken with the new couple during the picture taking….

She was three years old then….

The first blog I have ever posted was written in a “camp.” It’s a beautiful experience to be born in the blogging world after all. It’s a lesson  that completes us being an Internet user. At this point we can now share information through posting blogs and not consumers of information only.

Thanks to Camp Blog!
